York Business Week is back and full to the brim of conferences, seminars, networking events and award ceremonies! Whether a start-up or a fully established business, York Business Week is open to all and a great opportunity for our food & drink businesses to learn from industry experts and be encouraged to grow.
The week will kick off with ‘World Class York’, which includes a huge line-up of top class speakers, (who are all linked to York in one way or another) and aiming to inspire by sharing their experiences and successes. Other events taking place throughout the week include the ‘Business Growth Showcase’, which is ideal for new businesses. You will learn how to start up, fund and scale up your business. Throughout the week, some of York’s biggest companies, such as Nestle, Garbutt & Elliott, Hiscox and First York will be opening their doors and letting you go behind the scenes with some of the most senior members of the management team. They’ll be telling all about the company and how it functions. There’ll be many more workshops, inspirational talks and Q&A’s, all of which can be found here: http://www.yorkbusinessweek.co.uk/
TEDx York – Blurred Realities. An event not to be missed! This event will explore the development of technology that will inspire people and business leaders to change their game and look to the future. In particular the speakers will explore how technology, creativity and innovation can intermingle with history and heritage and how immersive technology can transform the interaction and understanding of the world around us.
Constructed Realities – The relationship between tech and truth
